Provides customer service, administrative/technical, and sales support to the supervisor, policy holders, support staff and insurance carriers serving as a liaison to coordinate, maintain and service the customer by performing the following duties:
Communicates with customers by phone, email, fax, or in person to assist them with questions, problems, or issues concerning their account.
Research every account and file to verify coverage.
Prepare underwriting submission, approach insurance market on client’s behalf, negotiate terms and conditions, prepare proposals, bind coverage with carriers, secure subjectivities required, and update Stephens systems.
Review issued policies and follow up with insurers for corrections; transmit policies to client or account executive
Assist in the set-up of certificate templates for complex accounts.
Assist accounting with cancellation notices, late payments and items not billed.
Prepare and communicate coverage analysis
Develop and cultivate positive working relationships with Executive Risk insurers.
Participate in industry events and conferences.
Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, etc. equivalent to a four year college degree, plus three years Executive Risk experience interacting with agents, insurance companies, and policyholders; or the equivalent in education, training and experience. Additional experience handling the paperwork related to insurance policies, such as policy applications, changes, renewals, etc.; and negotiating with underwriters.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have and maintain a Texas Insurance license.
