ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides customer service, administrative/technical, and sales support to the supervisor, policy holders, support staff and insurance carriers serving as a liaison to coordinate, maintain and service the customer by performing the following duties:

• Communicates with customers by phone, email, fax, or in person to assist them with questions, problems, or issues concerning their account.
• Research every account and file to verify coverage.
• Prepare underwriting submission, approach insurance market on client’s behalf, negotiate terms and conditions, prepare proposals, bind coverage with carriers, secure subjectivities required, and update Stephens systems.
• Review issued policies and follow up with insurers for corrections; transmit policies to client or account executive
• Assist in the set-up of certificate templates for complex accounts.
• Assist accounting with cancellation notices, late payments and items not billed.
• Prepare and communicate coverage analysis
• Develop and cultivate positive working relationships with Executive Risk insurers.
• Participate in industry events and conferences.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
